Anger. We can get so angry sometimes. Circumstances and situations that happen can result in our responding in anger and frustration. But what does the Bible say about that? Read James 1:19-20.
for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.
James 1:20 NASB

The Bible reminds us that we must be quick to listen and slow to speak and slow to become angry, but then it goes on the explain more about anger. Man’s anger doesn’t lead to God’s righteousness. If we are just upset and angry on our own, then we are not going to be act in a way that is pleasing to God. Our response to anger must be to remember that we are to allow God to address the cause of our anger. In Romans He reminds us that vengeance is His.
We can be angry about the things that anger God, and that’s where God moves. The distinction here is that man’s amger versus God’s anger. Are we angry about the things that anger God? Or are we just angry? If we’re just angry, then we need to let that go and let God handle it because man’s anger, our anger, doesn’t achieve God’s righteousness.
