Christian Devotional – January 27, 2018

Are you praising God? Does your life demonstrate to others the power of who God is in your life? As people were praising Jesus, some were upset about that and told Jesus that He should make them stop. Reading about this in Luke 19:28-48 we see His response in verse 40.

But Jesus answered, “I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out!”

God is who He is, there is nothing that will ever change that. We are to declare who He is and praise Him, but if we don’t then we need to understand that doesn’t change who He is and others will sing His praise instead. Are we willing to open up our lives to sharing and declaring the praise of Jesus Christ to everyone we come into contact with?
