Christian Devotional – January 28, 2018

What  Is the foundation for what you are building your life upon? Every building has a foundation of some sort. If the foundation is nothing, the building doesn’t last long. Jesus knew this about life as well. Read what he says in Luke 20:1-18

But Jesus looked at them and said, “What then is this that is written: ‘ the stone which the builders rejected , this became the chief corner stone ‘? Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust.”

Jesus explained that he is the one who should be the foundation for everything we build our life upon. Some people have rejected him but that doesn’t change the fact that he is still the chief corner stone for all things. We can choose to build our life upon him, or not. However, that does not change the truth that he is the  True foundation for all things. We can choose to accept that and build upon it, or we can be crushed by that understanding later.
