Read Proverbs chapter 31

VERSE:

Proverbs 31:30–Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

TRUTH:

What are we chasing after? Do we seek after beauty and spend time and money focused on that? Do we try to charm others with our personality? The characteristic that we are to seek after most is fear of the Lord. We are to seek after Him and reverence and respect His commands. Our relationship with Him is the only thing that matters or that lasts.

RESPONSE:

Father, my relationship with You is what gives me beauty and charm. You are the only thing that matters in my life. I will trust You and praise You for all You are. Only through You am I anything at all.
