VERSE:
Psalm 5:3–In the morning Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.
TRUTH:
We are often very good about bringing our requests to God. Sometimes it may feel that is all we are doing is asking God for help. Yet, this verse mentions two interesting additions. First, do we bring our requests to God first time, or are we waiting until we’ve tried all our own solutions first? Second, do we wait expectantly? When we bring our requests, we are to bring them first thing in the situation and we should expect an answer. God hears us and He is waiting and listening. Do we come to Him?
REASPONSE:
Father, You know my needs, but You still desire that I bring those before You. I love You and I will bring my requests to You right off the bat. I will wait, expecting You response and Your action. I know You are all I need in every situation I encounter.
