Christian Devotional – January 6, 2013

VERSE:
Leviticus 23:43–so that your generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths, I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

TRUTH:
We are responsible to share with our children and those in the next generation the faithfulness of the Lord. If we do not share, they will not know and not hear about all that God has done. How will they trust in God when they do not know or understand why we trust in Him?

RESPONSE:
Father, I must share Your amazing deeds in my life with others. Occasionally, I am reluctant because the stories show where I have fallen short and You have saved me and come through for me. I confess to You that is wrong. Help me value other people’s relationship with You above my own pride and share what You have done in my life.
