Read 1 John chapter 4

VERSE:

1 John 4:6–We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us, but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

TRUTH:

When we start talking about doing the right thing in situations, we will have people who don’t understand what we are saying or why we are saying it. They don’t have the Spirit of God in them to help determine whether it is truth or falsehood. We shouldn’t get upset or bothered by these people for they have been deceived by a spirit of falsehood. We should continue to pray for them so that they may come to a knowledge of God and receive His Spirit of truth.

RESPONSE:

Father, help me not get bothered when people don’t understand Your truth. Help me to listen and speak only what Your Spirit of Truth gives me. I praise You and desire to be living in Your Truth, even if others don’t understand.
