The Gospels through the Summer, Day 51

How much do you love God? Read Luke 7.

As we see Jesus continuing his ministry through the area, so many people are drawn to him and are impacted by the miracles that he performs in their lives. At the end of the chapter we see a woman who washes his feet with perfume and her hair. Jesus calls her out and points out the fact that she has been forgiven of many things and because she has been forgiven of so much, she loves him so much.

When we think about how much we love the Lord, do we remember all that he has done for us and all the ways in which he has truly saved us? When we remember what we have been saved from, it is easy to love much! God has saved us from so much! How do we show our love back to him?
