Christian Devotional – July 25, 2012

VERSE:
Isaiah 33:6–And He will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is his treasure.

TRUTH:
Isaiah is speaking about the man who has waited for the Lord. The Lord will be that man’s stability, knowledge, and salvation, and in the Lord will be his treasure. Does that describe us? Do we experience stability in the midst of chaos? Do we have salvation, wisdom, and knowledge? Do we look on the Lord as our treasure? If not, we need to seek Him and wait on Him for He wants to be all these things for us in our life.

RESPONSE:
Lord, I will seek You and stand on Your stability. You alone provide salvation, wisdom, and knowledge, and I will rest in You knowing that You alone are my treasure.
