Christian Devotional – July 4, 2018

What’s God done in the past? Knowing and understanding how God has responded in the past gives us insight into how He will respond in the future. God’s character doesn’t change. See what the psalmist says in Psalm 99.

O Lord our God, You answered them; You were a forgiving God to them, And yet an avenger of their evil deeds.

As the psalmist remembers what God has done in the past, he can have hope because God will continue to respond to situations according to His character. Do we know who God is? He hears and answers. He forgives. He gives hope. We can trust in Him today.
