But God, Why? Day 9

Bloodshed and God’s glory. Read Habakkuk chapter 2, focusing on verses 12-14.
Today, as we look at the third woe that God mentions in his response back to Habakkuk, we see the woe of building towns on bloodshed. The people of Babylon were known for killing people and being brutal when they took over in multiple different cities and countries. This woe talks about building based on bloodshed and how that will come to nothing, because ultimately the entire world will demonstrate and display the glory of God.
God can build all of his things, and he doesn’t use bloodshed to do it. The entire world is going to see God’s glory. It will be evident among everyone in the world. We know that there is nothing that God can’t do. Regardless of whether people believe in him or not, his glory will be evident and on display for the entire world to see. We know that God’s glory will be seen by everyone.
Are we building on our own through bloodshed or other means? Or are we building to display God’s glory?
