Christian Devotional – June 14, 2014

Read 1 John chapter 2

VERSE:

1 John 2:24-25–As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what he promised us–eternal life.

TRUTH:

We are to remain steadfast in what God has taught us. We are to consistently follow through on His direction and His teaching. He has promised that as we do that, He will remain in us and He will provide us eternal life. Are we remaining steadfast in all that He has commanded us?

RESPONSE:

Father, I will remain steadfast in all that You desire for me. I pray You will help me see Your promises everyday as You are providing what You promised, eternal life.
