Christian Devotional – June 17, 2020

The Message – #64

We are his creation. God is the one who has crafted us and molded us and made us the way that we are. Do we recognize our relationship and our need for the creator because we can not become anything on our own? Read Isaiah chapter 64 and focus on verse 8.

But now, O Lord , You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. Isaiah 64:8 NASB https://bible.com/bible/100/isa.64.8.NASB

He is our father and he is the master Potter. God crafts us and molds us and makes us into the image that he desires. Our job is simply to submit and allow him to do the work that needs to be done in our lives.

If we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord then God is in the process of remaking us into the image of his son. Are we boldly submitting each day to the work of the father? Are we allowing him to craft us and remold us into Christ’s image?
