A Prayer for You, Day 23

We need each other. Read Philippians chapter 4, focusing on verses 13 and 14.

We looked at it yesterday and Paul’s statement about the importance of having our strength come through Christ is so evident. Additionally, reading verse 14, it’s a reminder that we need each other too. We are not meant to be Lone Ranger Christians. God did not design this life for us to go through by ourselves.

God brings community and relationships. God provides us the strength we need, but a lot of the ways in which he provides that is through other people around us. Are we looking at and thinking about the people that God has put in our lives? How can we be the strength they need and how can they be the strength we need in every situation.

The people of Philippi shared in Paul’s struggles and became part of the strength that God provided to Paul to make it through. Who are we going to share in troubles with today and be the strength that God is providing for them?
