Christian Devotional – June 21, 2012

VERSE:
Matthew 27:50–And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

TRUTH:
Even while hanging on the cross, while suffering in physical agony, Jesus remained in complete control and was still God. He decided the miracles that would occur to coincide with His death. He decided the very moment He would choose to sacrifice His own life. Never, throughout that whole ordeal, was God out of control. We can trust Him to be in control of our life, no matter how out of control we feel.

RESPONSE:
Lord, I look at my life and sometimes I feel so overwhelmed and out of control. You are never out of control. You are always able to orchestrate exactly what You want, and I will trust You to be in control of my life.
