VERSE:
Micah 7:7–But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
TRUTH:
These two words are so difficult to do: watch and wait. We must be diligently watching for God. Our hope is in Him and no other. He is the One with the words of life and He is the hope of our salvation. Are we diligently watching for Him. Second, are we waiting for Him. This has never been easy, but even less so in this culture of need-it-now that we currently have. Are we willing to wait on Him simply because He is worthy of our waiting? He hears us and He is our hope, but we must be willing to watch and wait on Him.
RESPONSE:
Father, my life is filled with hurry, hurry, hurry. I want to watch for You, but I tend to do it while I’m racing off to the next thing. I pray that You will help me to know and understand what it means to watch and to wait on You for I know that in Your time, everything is made perfect. My hope is in You and I know that You will hear me.
