Christian Devotional – June 27, 2012

VERSE:
Isaiah 5:20–Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

TRUTH:
Do we see and acknowledge things for what they actually are? Are we calling things the same that God would call them? God is truth and He knows the truth of what is evil or good, what is dark or light. Are we seeking His truth or have we deluded ourselves into believing a lie?

RESPONSE:
Lord, today I want to see Your truth! I don’t want to believe a lie or trust in something that is a falsehood. Help me to examine everything I encounter today through the lens of Your truth.
