God answers prayer. People can say all they want about feeling like God doesn’t hear them, but at the end of the day, God truly does answer prayer. Read 1 Kings 17:20-22.
He called to the Lord and said, “O Lord my God, have You also brought calamity to the widow with whom I am staying, by causing her son to die?” Then he stretched himself upon the child three times, and called to the Lord and said, “O Lord my God, I pray You, let this child’s life return to him.” The Lord heard the voice of Elijah, and the life of the child returned to him and he revived.

Elijah prayed for the boy. He prayed for the situation. He prayed for the witness that he was being toward this woman who had agreed to take him in. Elijah brought his concerns to the Lord and God answered them.
Do we approach the throne of God confidently and knowing that he gives us grace? God’s desires to meet our needs and many of our wants. However, we can never say that God’s doesn’t hear us. God answers prayer. Are we praying to him?
