Christian Devotional – March 16, 2013

VERSE:

2 Chronicles 15:7–But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.

TRUTH:

Asa was a new king and God sent the prophet Azariah to speak words of encouragement to him. God wanted Asa to know that God wanted him to be strong, not give up, and know that the work we do will be rewarded. For us, God wants us to know that He sees the work that we do and our commitment to Him and He will reward us for our faithfulness.

RESPONSE:

Father, You are always faithful to Your commitments. You see the work that I do and my commitment to You and You will reward that in Your time. I will be strong. I will not give up. And, I will encourage other believers to do the same.
