Read Deuteronomy chapter 7

VERSE:

Deuteronomy 7:9–Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.

TRUTH:

God is faithful. He rewards those who are faithful. How does He do that? He is faithful to us. God has a covenant with us and He keeps that covenant, not just with us, but for a thousand generations. As we love Him and follow Him, He follows through on all His promises to us. Do we trust God to keep His promises? Do we keep our commitment to Him?

RESPONSE:

Father, You promise to be my God. You gave Your covenant of love. I will follow You and love You and expect You to keep Your promises. You are God and You are my God.
