Christian Devotional – March 23, 2015

Read Ephesians chapter 4

VERSE:

Ephesians 4:14–Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind and teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.

TRUTH:

We are to grow up! Sometimes I think the church resembles the fiction Neverland where boys and girls never grow up. We come to church, but never learn and grow and mature in our faith. As a result, immature believers are easily distracted and turned from following God because they don’t have the solid foundation to keep them firm through difficulty and testing. We are to grow in Christ every single day and it starts by studying and learning His Word.

RESPONSE:

Father, You have given me so many reasons to learn and grow. I will study Your word and seek to know and understand more about You. Thank You for all You have done for me and keep me growing and maturing in You.
