What is good? Read Psalm chapter 85.

How do we know and understand what is good? When I read statements like this and I see that God will give what is good, it makes me stop and think: how do I define what is good and how does God define what is good?

Sometimes I think our definitions are very different. We have to remember that everything God gives us is good. We see that in James chapter one. When God gives us something, even if we don’t understand it and even if we don’t agree with it, we still have to recognize that it is good. Are we praising God for the goodness of his gifts in our life today? How can we change our definition of good to match his?
