Christian Devotional – March 6, 2019

Confession, others, and effective praayer. It may not seem that these should go together, but they do. The way to have effective prayer is indicated in James 5:16.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

As we recognize our sins and as we are confessing them to the Lord, there will be times that we have sinned against others and we need to confess our sins to them as well. People need to see and learn from our mistakes and real relationships are based on vulnerability as well as shared interests.

Are we seeking after God and are we leading those around us to do so as well. If we are diligent to share our opportunities with others and to genuinely pray for others, then we will see our prayers answered and God move and work in our lives.
