Christian Devotional – March 7, 2015

Read Psalm chapter 60

VERSE:

Psalm 60:5–Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.

TRUTH:

There are times when I feel guilty about coming to God when I am in need. I start to feel like all I am saying to God is “Help me! Help me!” True, we are to certainly be praising God for who He is and all He does, but one thing He does is save us. It is a lie of Satan that tells us not to bother God with all our problems or that He doesn’t want to help us. God is certainly able to save us and He desires to step in and be our rescuer and savior. We can continue to pray and uplift our requests to God as He continues to be our one true source of Salvation.

RESPONSE:

Father, save me! So many things around me are trying to distract me from You and keep me from doing what You’ve called me to do. I beg You to save me from Satan, from the world, and from myself. I need You and all that You have for me.
