A Prayer for You, Day 6

Prayer for unity. Read Philippians chapter 2, focusing on verses 1-4.

What makes for complete joy? Unity. Being able to have a body of believers that is unified in purpose and heart is one of the most joyful and exciting things to experience. We have an opportunity to come together as a church and to experience the unity of Christ.

Are we focusing on all that Christ has done for us together? Are we seeking to move forward in unified purpose? These are the things that give joy to believers and leaders everywhere. Are we praying for unity with other believers? Are we praying to be of the same mind and the same focus? Are we praying that God would change our heart if he needs to, not just that he would change the hearts of those around us when we disagree. How can we be praying for unity, for ourselves and for others?
