Christian Devotional – May 19, 2014

Read 1 John chapter 1

VERSE:

1 John 1:3–We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

TRUTH:

How do we have fellowship with other believers? Fellowship is not about food or games; fellowship is about sharing what Jesus Christ has done in our life. As we share what we’ve seen and heard Jesus do, we experience true fellowship, not just with other believers, but also with God himself. When was the last time we shared what we’ve seen and heard Jesus do in our life? When was the last time we truly experienced fellowship?

RESPONSE:

Father, You are amazing and the things You have done in my life are equally amazing. I will share those with others so that You may be glorified and that I may experience true fellowship with You and with other believers.
