Read Psalm chapter 106

VERSE:

Psalm 106:13–But they soon forgot what he had done and did not wait for his plan to unfold.

TRUTH:

This chapter recounts several stories from Israel’s past. This verse stands out because it really indicates the reason that the people had so many struggles. They forgot what God had done for them in the past and they were impatient and didn’t wait on God’s plan. What about us? Do we face difficulties knowing that god has a plan and we can wait on Him? Do we remember the ways God has provided for us in the past so we know we can trust Him to do the same thing this time? God is faithful. We can trust that He will do what He says and we will wait on Him.

RESPONSE:

Father, I praise You for being who You are no matter what. You have done amazing works in my life in the past and I will wait on You to move and work in my situations in my life now. I know that Your plans are for the best and I will be mindful of all that You are doing. I praise You and I will trust You. I will remember all that You have done for me and wait patiently for You to continue to move.
