Read Psalm chapter 120

VERSE:

Psalm 120:6-7–Too long have I lived among those who hate peace. I am for peace; but when they speak, they are for war.

TRUTH:

It seems everyone today is talking about wanting peace, but when it comes down to it, they just argue and fight about everything anyway. There are some people who just don’t seem content unless they are arguing about something. Are we like those people? Or, do we seek peace? True peace is only found with God and then through God, we can have peace with others.

RESPONSE:

Father, through You there is peace, but only through You. I will seek after You in everything today and will work to make sure that I am surrendered and obedient to You so that Your peace shows through my life.
