The Message – #42

God is worthy of our praise. Read Isaiah chapter 42 and focus on verse 8.

“I am the Lord , that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images.

God is due glory and he is jealous and doesn’t share. He doesn’t have to. No one and no thing is worthy of the glory that God is due. Are we giving God his glory or are we trying to take some for ourselves? Or, are we giving glory to something else besides God? He is worthy and He doesn’t share. If we put something else in place of that, then he will take back his glory.
