How to determine a real prophet from a false one. Read Deuteronomy chapter 18.

As Moses continues to share with the people, he covers the prophets. All the people in the land who followed false gods also had false prophets. So, how do you tell them apart? Simple, if they prophecy something that doesn’t come true, they should be put to death. Sounds incredibly harsh by today’s standards, but when God speaks through someone, he is always speaking truth. Anything else is from Satan and is a lie.

We can always trust God and we can always trust His word. That will never lie and will always be true. Do we trust only in God and his word?
