Christian Devotional – May 26, 2013
VERSE:
Ezekiel 42:20–So he measured the area on all four sides. It had a wall around it, five hundred cubits long and five hundred cubits wide, to separate the holy from the common.
TRUTH:
God showed Ezekiel that there is to be a separation between what is holy and what is common. Those things which are holy are to be set apart. They are to be reverenced and respected. God is holy. Do we treat Him as such? He is to be set apart and reverenced. Because we belong to Him as His followers, we are also to conduct ourselves as holy and set apart. Do we make a distinction between what is holy and what is common?
RESPONSE:
Father, You are holy and set apart. I will treat You as holy and will seek to display the reverence and respect You are due.
EXTRA:
Over the summer, we’re going to be looking at the miracles of Jesus on the Sunday Devotional with the Sisters in Cahoots. Check out today’s first one now!
