Christian Devotional – May 27, 2019

Appeal. When we see an area that is an opportunity for others, how we approach them can make all the difference. Read 1 Timothy 5:1-2.

Do not sharply rebuke an older man, but rather appeal to him as a father, to the younger men as brothers, the older women as mothers, and the younger women as sisters, in all purity.

We are to appeal to them. When we see people who are struggling in an area, we should appeal to them, assuming that they want to be better. They are wanting to follow Christ more and without feedback, no one can continue to improve. Do we provide feedback to others as an appeal to them, or are we harsh and critical? Do we truly want to see them improve? Continue to help fellow believers to grow closer to Christ in thhe way that we share their opportunities with them.
