Psalm and Praise, Day 134

The night shift. Read Psalm chapter 134.

I think this is the first time I ever noticed that these verses refer to people who are working the night shift, the ministers who serve the Lord at night. God is holy and he is deserving of worship and praise at all hours of the day and night and apparently, they had people serving the Lord in the temple at night.

It doesn’t matter when our work is and what we are doing. We are to be praising the Lord. We can serve him and glorify him at night just like we can during the day. Regardless of whether we work the day shift, the swing shift, the night shift, or any other shift, our praise can be brought before the Father, the Creator of heaven and Earth, the Maker of all things. Are we giving him praise today?
