Read 1 John chapter 2

VERSE:

1 John 2:2–He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for the sins of the whole world.

TRUTH:

Jesus Christ came and died as the sacrifice for our sins. He rose victorious and He lives, allowing us to live in Him, however, this gift is not just for a select few. His sacrifice is available to all who will believe in Him. Are we willing to share with all people or do we only share this message for good news with a select few? His sacrifice was for the whole world; the whole world needs to know.

RESPONSE:

Father, Your gift of eternal life is available to all who will believe You and accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Lord, You are over all and only through Jesus Christ can we be made right with You.
