Leading Through Challenging Circumstances, Day 7

Turn to God. Read Daniel 2:17-18.

Daniel asked for extra time and the king granted that to him. So how did Daniel use that time? He went straight to his friends and told everybody that they needed to stop everything and spend time in prayer. They prayed to God. Daniel realized that he had a leader that was being unrealistic with expectations. What the leader was asking for could not be accomplished in any other way except through God.

As Daniel realized that, he went straight to the only person who could solve the issue in the first place. Daniel knew that if God didn’t respond, then there was no response that they would have.

Do we realize that about the problems that we are facing. Every single situation that we are in, even when we think we might have a solution, the reality is that God is truly the only one who knows the solution. He has the correct answer to the problems we face. We have to stay focused on him and come to him to request those answers.

Are we spending time in prayer? Are we coming to God with the problems, the frustrations, the difficulties, and the challenges in our life? Leading through challenging circumstances is truly about turning to the one who has the circumstances completely in hand. God does not find any circumstance challenging, and if we are coming to him first, that is the only way we can make it through.
