Read 2 Timothy chapter 3

VERSE:

2 Timothy 3:12–In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

TRUTH:

If we are living for Christ, what should we expect? There will be persecution and those who oppose us. If we choose to stand for Christ, we will have those who will stand against us. If no one is standing against us, we must ask ourselves if we are truly standing for Christ every day.

RESPONSE:

Father, keep me focused on standing for Christ, even in the midst of persecution. I will lift You up and praise You, no matter the response I get from other people for it is Your approval alone that I seek.
