30 Days of Thanksgiving, Day 2

What does it mean to devote ourselves to prayer? Reading through day 2 in the reading plan for the 30 days of Thanksgiving, found on YouVersion.com, we find ourselves reading Colossions 4:2.

As we devote ourselves to prayer, we find our attitude changing. Our outlook and our focus on life is not the same when we have been spending time with the father. We are more thankful. We are more patient. We are more open to the prompting and the nudging of the Holy Spirit in our life as we go through our day.

Are we taking the time in prayer? Are we going through our day in an attitude of constant prayer? This will change our thankfulness.

I am so thankful today for or the opportunity to pray and lift up my needs to the father. I am thankful that He knows me, he hears me, and that he meets my needs in the way that he knows is best.
