Christian Devotional – November 3, 2014

Read Hosea chapter 13

VERSE:

Hosea 13:6–When I fed them, they were satisfied, when they were satisfied, they became proud; then they forgot me.

TRUTH:

We cry out to God when we are in need. We beg Him to save us; to help us. Then once He does, how do we respond to God? God, in this verse, tells the people that once he fed them, then they became proud and forgot about God. Do we only call out to God in the difficult times, but then take credit ourselves for the good times? He is still God even in the good times and we need to remember and come to Him at all times.

RESPONSE:

Father, help me only be satisfied in You. No matter what You have done and provided for me, I will always need You every minute of every day. I want to only be satisfied in You.
