Read Matthew chapter 1

VERSE:

Matthew 1:21–She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.

TRUTH:

Jesus’ purpose in coming to earth was clear. He is to be the savior for those who are lost in their sin. Each and every one of us fit that description. As we start to contemplate all that He is and does for us, we cannot deny His purpose. Jesus came to save people from their sins.

RESPONSE:

Father, You sent Jesus because we needed a savior. I needed a savior. Thank You for seeing me where I was and providing a way of escape and hope.
