Christian Devotional – November 6, 2014

Read Matthew chapter 2

VERSE:

Matthew 2:8–He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for this child. As soon as you find him, return to me, so that I too may go and worship him.”

TRUTH:

The magi were asked to look carefully for Jesus, yet they had already shown their diligence for looking for Him by coming this far. Herod wanted to convey his concern to the magi to trick them. Still, the search for Jesus is one of the most important things we can do in our life. God know when our search for Jesus is sincere and when its not. Will we keep searching for Him in every situation and circumstance? He is there, waiting for us to find Him so He can lead us going forward.

RESPONSE:

Father, I will search diligently for You in every situation for I know You are there. I pray You will give me the strength and endurance to keep searching no matter what roadblocks I encounter today.
