Christian Devotional – November 7, 2012

VERSE:
Proverbs 22:12–The eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge, but He overthrows the words of the treacherous man.

TRUTH:
The Lord sees all that is done, said, and thought. He will remember all these things and one day the people will be held accountable for them. The Lord is the one in control and we should never forget that He has the power to overthrow them and vanquish the evil and treacherous people.

RESPONSE:
Father, I don’t understand Your ways, but I will trust that You know things that I don’t know. You see and remember and will hold people accountable for all their thoughts and deeds. I pray I will focus today on Your love and hope and the promise that You will deal with the treacherous people of this world.
