Read Matthew chapter 4

VERSE:

Matthew 4:4–Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'”

TRUTH:

What do we depend on to sustain us through our day? Are we spiritually healthy or do we look spiritually malnourished and underfed? We MUST have God’s Word in our lives and hearts daily as that is the source and substance of life for us as believers and followers of Jesus Christ. We live on it and it sustains us. Are we eating regularly on a diet of God’s Word or are we trying to get by with unhealthy substitutes.

RESPONSE:

Father, You are my source of substance and You provide al I need in every area of my life. I will live based on You and Your Word. You are all I desire.
