Christian Devotional – Octobe 28, 2012

VERSE:
Proverbs 12:15–The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who listens to counsel.

TRUTH:
Are we willing to consider the counsel of others? Do we seek out those with Godly wisdom and hear their advice? Or do we spend our time assuming that we know what is best and that we don’t need anyone else. The Bible indicates that those who are foolish assume they are right in everything they do. These fools don’t need to listen to answers or advice from others. Are we willing to listen to the counsel and advice of others around us? We are wise if we do.

TRUTH:
Father, You are over all things and You have provided people around me who want to see me succeed and be obedient to You. I will seek their advice and their counsel so that I may learn from them and be wise in my actions.
