The Weeping Prophet, Day 8

No remorse or regret. Read Jeremiah chapter 8.

As we read through here, we see God telling the people of their sin, but they don’t even care. They don’t feel any regret or remorse or even shame about the sin in their lives.

How do we feel about the sin in our lives? Do we have regret or remorse? Do we recognize that what we have done grieves a holy God? These people didn’t recognized that and did not do anything differently about their sin. They saw it as a no big deal. How do we view the sin in our lives? God is holy and everything else falls short.
