Judgment and Restoration, Day 14

Judgment comes. Read Micah 6:9-16.

In a book where we’ve been talking about judgment and restoration, we do see complete judgment here. The Lord explains that judgment often starts when we are least aware of it. God is explaining to people that he has already begun to judge them even though they’ve not felt the effects of that judgment yet. He goes through and explains that they will see crops and experience the harvest, but they will not be able to actually enjoy any of the fruits of their labor.

When we are experiencing the judgment of God, we may not recognize it when it initially starts. But God is holy, and he is going to judge us. Ultimately, we cannot stand up under the judgment of Christ. Are we seeking God and his restoration? Only he can truly restore us.
