ADHD Gospel, Day 45

Persistence and faith. Read Mark 10:46-52

The man wanted Jesus to see him. He called out and called out and called out until people were telling him to stop and be quiet. Still he called out even more. He was not going to be deterred and would not let anything stand in the way of his encounter with Jesus. When Jesus acknowledged him he knew exactly what he wanted in his life

When we look at our lives, do we have that level of persistence? Are we that focused on making sure that we know what we want? And we know who we want it from? Do we understand what Jesus is willing and able to do for us? And are we persistently seeking him?

This man got his sight back and Jesus credits his faith for that miracle. But the man persistently sought Jesus, having the faith that Jesus would be able to intervene in his life in a way that would allow him to ultimately glorify God.

Are we persistent in our faith in such a way that our faith will ultimately bring glory to God? We will walk through difficult and hard times, but only through faith in Christ, persistently giving glory to God, will we see God work and move in ways that we never expected.
