Lack of self-control. Read Proverbs 25.

As we look through this chapter and it’s meant datings, this very last one stands out. Do we have self-control? What does that self-control look like?

God knows what we will face in our life and even when things are a surprise to us, they are not a surprise to him. God desires that we not be flustered by the events of the world, but that we have self-control that shows a faith in God. Lack of self-control is really about a lack of faith. Do we believe that God is enough? Do we believe that he will take care of us?
