Christian Devotional – October 31, 2019

Don’t back down. When you know the truth and are confident in the truth, there is no reason to back down from the truth. Read Galatians 2:4-5.

But it was because of the false brethren secretly brought in, who had sneaked in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to bring us into bondage. But we did not yield in subjection to them for even an hour, so that the truth of the gospel would remain with you.

Paul knew the truth of their position that he was in and he clung to that even when others were encouraging him to go a different direction. Are we steadfast in the truth? Are we willing to stand even if no one else is standing with us?
