Christian Devotional – October 7, 2016

Read Daniel chapter 3

VERSE:

Daniel 3:18–But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.

TRUTH:

These three men had made a choice. That choice was made a long time before this event, because they had decided that they would only serve God and not bow down to anything else. So, when they were presented with a command to go against that, they had already answered that question in their own mind. What would our answer be? If faced with death or difficulty would we make the choice to stand for God, no matter what? Now is the time to make that choice, not later when we are faced with the question.

RESPONSE:

Father, I choose You, regardless of what comes up and what decisions I am presented with. You are worthy of my love and devotion and I will choose to follow You no matter the consequences that I may face.
