Christian Devotional – September 12, 2012

VERSE:
Ruth 4:14–Then the women said to Naomi, “Blessed is the Lord who has not left you without a redeemer today, and may his name become famous in Israel.”

TRUTH:
The people praised God for how He had provided for Naomi. He had given her a redeemer who had taken what was lost and forgotten and given it purpose again. Jesus is the Redeemer who does the same for us in our lives. Even when we are desolate and feel forgotten and alone, Jesus has redeemed us and given us purpose and value.

RESPONSE:
Father, because of You and Your redemption, You have made life meaningful. You are worthy of all praise and may others see all that You have done in my life and praise Your name.
